Residential Architectural Design & Detailed CAD Drafting for Modern Coastal Home with Structural Considerations

We are seeking a skilled architectural designer and CAD drafter to complete the design development and detailed drafting for a custom, modern coastal home. The project involves creating comprehensive architectural plans, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings adhering to local building codes. A strong understanding of structural engineering principles is essential, with a focus on wind resistance and seismic considerations typical for coastal environments. The design aesthetic emphasizes clean lines, large windows maximizing natural light, and sustainable building practices. The drafter will be responsible for translating the design concepts into precise CAD drawings using AutoCAD and Revit. We also require 3D modeling to visualize the final design, including landscaping integration and exterior material selection. Interior design input is welcome, focusing on a minimalist, functional approach with coastal-inspired finishes. Deliverables include complete architectural drawings for permit submission, detailed construction documents, and high-quality renderings demonstrating the final appearance of the home. Experience with passive solar design is a plus.
