Project Description
We are seeking an experienced Game Designer and Data Analyst to significantly improve player retention and monetization for our mobile RPG. The project involves deep diving into existing gameplay data (collected via Unity Analytics and internal databases, with Excel exports provided), identifying key drop-off points in the player journey (tutorial completion rates, mid-game churn, etc.), and proposing concrete design changes to address these issues. This includes balancing in-game currencies, adjusting progression curves (character leveling, gear acquisition), refining the gacha system for better engagement and fairness (while ensuring profitability), and optimizing tutorial flow to minimize initial friction. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using Excel for data analysis, comfortable with Unity and its analytics tools, possessing strong Game Design skills including level design and economy balancing. We'll need detailed documentation of proposed changes, A/B testing plans (with clear metrics), and post-implementation analysis reports. Experience with mobile free-to-play RPGs is a strong plus. Regular communication and iterative design adjustments are expected throughout the project duration, with weekly progress reports detailing findings and proposed solutions. We want someone who can think critically, propose creative solutions, and deliver measurable improvements to our key retention and monetization metrics. We'll provide access to all necessary data, a dedicated QA environment for testing changes, and ongoing support from our development team.
