Project Description
We are seeking an experienced network security specialist to design and implement a robust Zero-Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA) for our mid-sized financial institution. This project involves a thorough assessment of our current network infrastructure, identification of vulnerabilities and risk areas, and the design of a ZTNA solution that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory compliance (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR). You will be responsible for selecting appropriate ZTNA technologies (e.g., micro-segmentation, identity and access management (IAM), endpoint detection and response (EDR)), configuring network devices (firewalls, routers, switches) to enforce ZTNA policies, integrating with existing security tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners), and providing comprehensive documentation and training to our IT staff. The implementation should minimize disruption to business operations while significantly enhancing our overall security posture against modern threats like ransomware and insider attacks. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders across our organization to ensure buy-in and successful adoption of the ZTNA solution. The final deliverable will include a detailed design document, implementation plan, configuration guides, and training materials. We expect you to provide ongoing support for 30 days after implementation to ensure proper functionality and address any arising issues.
