Design and Implement a Zero-Trust Network Architecture for Financial Institution - Phase 1

This project involves designing and implementing a foundational Zero-Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA) for our regional financial institution. We are seeking an expert to conduct a thorough assessment of our existing network infrastructure, identify critical assets and potential vulnerabilities, and propose a phased ZTNA implementation plan. Phase 1 will focus on micro-segmentation of our core banking applications, implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all internal users accessing these applications, and integrating with our existing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with network segmentation technologies, identity and access management (IAM) principles, and cloud security best practices. We require the candidate to document every step of the process, provide comprehensive training for our IT staff, and ensure seamless integration with our existing security tools. Specifically, we need expertise in leveraging Linux for scripting automation tasks related to ZTNA policy enforcement and creating detailed documentation outlining the new architecture, including diagrams and step-by-step instructions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a robust monitoring strategy to ensure the ZTNA implementation effectively protects our critical assets and provides ongoing visibility into network activity. This is a high-priority project with significant impact on our organization’s security posture and regulatory compliance.
