Comprehensive End-to-End E-Commerce Platform Testing with Focus on Payment Gateway Integration and Mobile Responsiveness

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to conduct thorough end-to-end testing of our rapidly growing e-commerce platform. This project involves meticulously reviewing all aspects of the user journey, from product browsing and cart management to checkout and order fulfillment. A significant portion of the testing will focus on payment gateway integrations (Stripe, PayPal) ensuring secure and accurate transaction processing across various browsers and devices. Mobile responsiveness is crucial; you'll need to test on a range of iOS and Android devices, including different screen sizes and operating system versions. We are looking for someone who can identify edge cases, reproduce bugs reliably, and provide detailed reports with clear steps to replicate. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, payment security standards (PCI DSS), and experience with various testing methodologies. You will work closely with our development team to prioritize bugs, verify fixes, and ensure a high-quality user experience. Specific tasks include creating detailed test cases, executing those tests, documenting results, and participating in daily stand-up meetings. We also require you to perform load testing on key pages like the homepage and product listing pages to ensure performance under expected traffic loads. Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) is a must. Finally, you will be responsible for testing our customer account management features including registration, login, profile updates and order history.
