We require a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to conduct thorough regression testing and bug detection on our rapidly evolving e-commerce platform. The project involves testing various functionalities including user registration, product browsing, shopping cart management, payment gateway integration (Stripe & PayPal), order processing, and customer support features. The platform handles a high volume of transactions daily, so performance testing is crucial. We need someone capable of identifying and documenting defects clearly, providing detailed steps to reproduce them, and prioritizing them based on severity. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and experience working with Agile development methodologies. We expect daily progress reports and weekly meetings to discuss findings and ensure alignment with our product roadmap. Familiarity with e-commerce best practices, security considerations (OWASP top 10), and accessibility guidelines is highly desirable. We are looking for someone who can proactively identify potential issues before they impact our users and contribute to the overall quality of our product. The testing will encompass both functional and non-functional aspects, including load testing to ensure the platform can handle peak traffic loads. Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing and mobile device testing is also essential.
