Comprehensive E-commerce Platform Regression Testing & Performance Tuning (Phase 2)

We require an expert in Quality Assurance and Test Automation to conduct a thorough regression testing cycle for our e-commerce platform's Phase 2 release. This phase includes significant updates to the checkout process, user account management, and product catalog filtering functionalities. The ideal candidate will possess deep experience in identifying critical bugs, performing load testing to ensure system stability under peak traffic conditions, and collaborating effectively with our development team to resolve issues swiftly. We need detailed test reports documenting all findings, including steps to reproduce and severity levels. The candidate should be proficient in creating robust test cases that cover various scenarios, including edge cases and boundary conditions. A strong understanding of e-commerce workflows and best practices is crucial for this role. Experience with both manual QA techniques and automated testing frameworks like Cypress or Playwright is highly desirable, as we are looking to transition more of our regression testing to automation in the future. The ability to analyze performance metrics and identify bottlenecks is also essential, as we need to ensure a seamless user experience even during high-volume periods. We are open to candidates with expertise in Unit Testing as well, to ensure individual components function correctly before integration. This project requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results within the specified timeframe.
