Comprehensive E-commerce Platform Regression Testing and Performance Optimization with Focus on Mobile Responsiveness (60 Days)

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to conduct thorough regression testing and performance optimization for our rapidly growing e-commerce platform. The project will involve extensive manual testing across various browsers and mobile devices (iOS & Android) to ensure a seamless user experience. A significant portion of the work will focus on identifying and resolving UI/UX inconsistencies, particularly concerning mobile responsiveness. Additionally, you'll be responsible for designing and executing performance tests to evaluate the platform’s scalability under peak load conditions. We need a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) is a plus. The testing scope includes checkout processes, payment gateway integrations, product search functionality, user account management, and order fulfillment workflows. We'll provide access to our staging environment for testing purposes, along with detailed documentation of the platform’s architecture and functionality. We are looking for someone capable of identifying edge cases, reproducing bugs reliably, and suggesting potential solutions. Collaboration with the development team will be crucial to ensure timely bug fixes and a high-quality release.
