Cloud Infrastructure Optimization & Network Security Audit for High-Traffic E-commerce Platform

We are seeking a highly skilled freelancer to conduct a comprehensive audit of our existing AWS cloud infrastructure and network security posture. The project involves identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies in resource utilization, and potential vulnerabilities across our web application servers, database instances (PostgreSQL), load balancers, and associated network configurations. This includes optimizing auto-scaling groups for cost efficiency while maintaining high availability, reviewing security group rules and network ACLs to minimize attack surface, implementing intrusion detection/prevention measures utilizing AWS services like GuardDuty and Security Hub, and developing a detailed remediation plan with prioritized recommendations. The candidate should have extensive experience in AWS networking (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway), security best practices (CIS benchmarks), and performance tuning. Implementation of a centralized logging solution using CloudWatch Logs and ELK stack is also required for enhanced monitoring. Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools is a plus.
