Performance Optimization and Feature Enhancement for Cross-Platform Financial Tracking Mobile App

We are seeking an experienced mobile developer to significantly improve the performance of our existing cross-platform financial tracking application, primarily targeting Android and iOS. The app currently uses React Native and needs a focused effort to reduce startup time, improve scrolling smoothness, minimize battery consumption during usage, and optimize data fetching from our backend API. Beyond performance enhancements, we also require the implementation of several key features: 1) Recurring transaction scheduling with customizable frequency (daily, weekly, monthly); 2) Enhanced categorization system allowing users to create custom categories and sub-categories; 3) Export transaction data in CSV format. Experience with profiling tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools, React Native Profiler) is crucial. Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, efficient data structures, and memory management is essential to deliver a polished, high-performing user experience. We will need thorough documentation of changes and optimized code.
