We are seeking an expert Solidity developer to design, implement, and thoroughly audit smart contracts for a new decentralized voting system crucial for our DAO's governance. The system must support multiple proposal types (e.g., quadratic voting, ranked-choice), delegation of votes, and robust security measures against common attack vectors like reentrancy attacks, integer overflows/underflows, front-running, and denial-of-service. The smart contracts will be deployed on the Ethereum mainnet (and potentially Layer 2 solutions like Optimism or Arbitrum later). A key component is developing a comprehensive test suite using frameworks such as Hardhat and Foundry, including fuzzing techniques to identify edge cases. We require detailed documentation outlining the contract architecture, security considerations, and upgradeability strategy (if applicable). Experience with formal verification tools is a significant plus. The final deliverable includes the audited smart contract code, complete documentation, and test results demonstrating the system's security and functionality. The DAO requires a well-defined access control mechanism to ensure only authorized personnel can modify the voting system's parameters. We will provide existing DAO governance documentation as a starting point.
