Detailed Data Entry and Spreadsheet Management for E-commerce Product Catalog (6 weeks)

We require a meticulous data entry specialist to update and manage our e-commerce product catalog. This involves inputting new product information from supplier documents (PDFs and spreadsheets), updating existing records with pricing changes, verifying data accuracy against multiple sources, standardizing product descriptions to adhere to SEO best practices and ensuring consistent formatting across the entire catalog. The project also includes creating and maintaining complex spreadsheets in Excel to track inventory levels, sales performance, and competitor pricing. Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce is a plus but not essential. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, possess excellent data entry skills, and be comfortable working with large datasets. Regular communication is required to discuss progress and address any inconsistencies or questions that may arise. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and efficiency, as well as the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. The data will be provided in various formats, requiring flexibility and adaptability. We'll need you to validate information from multiple sources (supplier websites, promotional materials) and resolve any discrepancies found.
